My Distinguished Colleague,
Indeed, you are an inspiration to the society and a blessing to the Bar. Without you, injustice would have stood tall as the Burj Khalifa. Though we have been overwhelmingly rattled by the novel Coronavirus disease, it is necessary that we do not lose sight of the importance of advocating for the promotion and protection of the rule of law and the fundamental rights of the citizenry of our beloved nation, Nigeria. Indeed, no Nigerian deserves any form of physical abuse or brutality by any person or agency. As we begin this new month, I implore us to constantly advance the tenets of the rule of law for it is the bedrock upon which our noble Association was established. I wish us all a very propitious and exhilarating month of June.
