A notorious kidnapper who has been on the wanted list of the Edo State Police Command, Amacauley Ikhuakpogba, has been arrested at Iguobazuwa headquarters of Ovia South West a local government area of the state.
Amacauley was nabbed during a routine stop and search operation by the police.
He was said to have engaged in series of kidnappings and robbery in the state.
The suspect was among 35 suspects paraded by the police on Tuesday.
Amacauley told journalists that he was involved in two kidnappings and eight armed robbery operations.
He said the sum of N500,000 was collected from one of their victims as ransom.
Other suspects were said to be involved in armed robbery, kidnapping, car snatching and rape.
A drop out from the Nigeria Military School, Hope Obasuyi, who has been posing as a soldier to rob innocent citizens was also paraded.
Hope, aged 27, was nabbed in Benin City after a phone he stole was taken to a relative of the phone owner for unlocking.
