It is with great delight that I felicitate with the organizers and participants of this epoch making summit on the theme: “Reimagining Legal Education in Nigeria”.
The theme of the Summit is quite appropriate for these times considering the growing concern among stakeholders and practitioners on failing standards and the need to retool and reimagine legal education in Nigeria to address contemporary challenges in legal education and practice.
To be sure, legal education goes to the very foundation of legal training and serves as a major tool towards repositioning and equipping practitioners to become even more effective solicitors and advocates.
It is my utmost expectation that the outcome of the Summit will go a long way in equipping participants with knowledge to confront key challenges in the profession and take advantage of emerging legal opportunities.
I wish you all a fruitful deliberation and positive outcome.
