Three arraigned for stealing phones, laptop in Edo

Three young men identified as Harrison Chukwuemeka (19), Stanley Sunday (19) and Otega Ogwa (25) have been arraigned at an Egor Magistrate Court for allegedly stealing handsets and laptop valued at N81,000.
The items belonged to one Lucky Amiogbere.
Police prosecutor, Corporal Chukwuemeka Omoregbe, said the accused persons broke into the complainant’s residence on November 22 and stole two Blackberry phones, three Techno phones and one E-machine laptop.
The accused persons were arraigned on three- count charge of conspiracy, breaking and entering and stealing.
When the plea was read to them, the accused persons pleaded not guilty to the charges
Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. Igho Braimoh, granted the accused persons bail in the sum of N100, 000 each, and a surety who must be a house owner within the court jurisdiction.
The case was adjourned to January 25, 2016.
