His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. kayode Fayemi has appointed Dele Adesina SAN as a member of the Ekiti State Covid – 19 Response Resource Mobilization Committee. This appointment comes following the recent outbreak of the #COVID19 Pandemic and the discovery of 2 cases in Ekiti State.
The Committee’s mandate, amongst others, is to mobilize and advise on funds and project management. Other activities carried out by the State include the decontamination and disinfection of public places across the State, with a view to curbing the spread of the infectious disease.
In addition to the relief materials being distributed, the State Government is also working out modalities on how to give financial assistance to those whose daily income is affected by the government’s shutdown directive.
Other members of the Committee include Chief Afe Babalola SAN, Chief Wole Olanipekun SAN and Mr. Femi Falana SAN.
