Mr. Elo Adhekpukoli has expressed his support for the position taken by the Lagos State Governor at the ongoing 2-Day Public Hearing on the review of the 1999 Constitution. His Excellency, Babajide Sanwo-Olu had on Wednesday 26th May, 2021, canvassed for State Police and Fiscal Restructuring at the ongoing Zonal Public Hearing in Lagos.
Mr. Elo Adhekpukoli, an aspirant for the position of Publicity Secretary of NBA Lagos in the forthcoming elections, had earlier submitted Constitution amendment proposals for State Police and Fiscal Restructuring to the National Assembly since September 2020.
Mr. Elo Adhekpukoli expressed optimism that with the support for State Police and Fiscal Restructuring by most State Governors like His Excellency, Gov. Sanwo-Olu and his counter parts in other States, the National Assembly will amend the Constitution to reflect the will of the populace.
Elo Adhekpukoli, also called on all members of the House of Representatives and the Nigerian Senate to support amendment proposals for State Police and Fiscal Restructuring when the Constitution amendment bill is presented for the Third and Final Reading on the floor of the National Assembly.
