The Corporate Affairs Commission has opened a new service office at Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos, to expand access to business-registration and corporate-compliance services.
The facility was commissioned on July 27, 2026, by the Registrar-General of the Commission, Hussaini Ishaq Magaji, SAN.
According to the Commission, the centre will assist entrepreneurs and companies with business registration, filing of annual returns and other post-incorporation obligations. It is intended to serve Lagos Island and surrounding commercial districts.
CAC said the additional office should reduce travel and processing difficulties for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises seeking direct assistance with statutory filings.
The Commission expects the centre to support the formalisation of small businesses, improve regulatory compliance and reduce unnecessary dependence on third parties for routine corporate services.
The initiative forms part of CAC’s wider effort to improve service delivery and make company-registration processes more accessible to businesses.
