Goodwill Message to NBA YLF, Jos Branch – 2026 Summit

Mr. Chairman and Esteemed Executives, Nigerian Bar Association Young Lawyers Forum, Jos Branch, I extend my warm goodwill to the very industrious future leaders on the occasion of its 2026 Summit.

The theme, “The Practice of Law in the Digital Era: Navigating the Ethical Issues Involved in the Use of Artificial Intelligence,” is both timely and forward-looking. It reflects the rapid transformation of legal practice in an increasingly technology-driven world and highlights the urgent need for young lawyers to not only embrace innovation but also critically engage with the ethical implications that accompany emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence.

I commend the leadership of the Young Lawyers Forum, Jos Branch, for their foresight in organizing a summit that combines technical training, professional development, and intellectual discourse. The inclusion of a practical training session on AI by the Digital Bridge Institute, Abuja, further demonstrates a strong commitment to equipping young lawyers with relevant digital competencies.

This summit provides a valuable platform for learning, networking, and rethinking the future of legal practice. I encourage all participants to actively engage, ask critical questions, and develop the skills required to remain effective and ethically grounded in a rapidly evolving profession.

May the NBA Jos Branch YLF Summit 2026 be successful, impactful, and intellectually enriching.
