GOODWILL MESSAGE TO NBA PANKSHIN BRANCH ON YOUR 25TH ANNIVERSARY & LAW WEEK

Congratulations to the Chairman, Executive Committee, and all distinguished members of the Nigerian Bar Association, Pankshin Branch, as you celebrate 25 remarkable years and convene your Law Week.

Twenty-five years of service to the Bar and to justice is no small milestone. It speaks to resilience, consistency, and a commitment to the rule of law in Pankshin and beyond. The Cradle of excellence you’ve built deserves to be celebrated.

Your theme, “Electoral Integrity and National Security: The Role of Law in Safeguarding Nigeria’s Democracy,” could not be more urgent. Credible elections and a secure nation are not abstract ideals. They are the foundation on which our democracy stands. The law remains the strongest instrument we have to protect the ballot, hold power to account, and preserve civil order.

I salute the Chairman, the Executives, and the Law Week Planning Committee for choosing to confront these issues head-on. May your 25th Anniversary and Law Week spark frank dialogue, actionable recommendations, and a renewed pledge by lawyers to be guardians of both the constitution and the collective peace.

To the entire Pankshin Branch: may the next 25 years deepen your impact, broaden your influence, and keep you steadfast in the service of justice and democracy.

Wishing you a historic anniversary and an insightful, impactful Law Week.
