WHEN JUSTICE SPEAKS, NIGERIA LISTENS
Goodwill to NBA Suleja Branch on Law Week 2026
Audrey Chinelo Ofoegbunam congratulates the NBA Suleja Branch on the occasion of its Law week event.
The administration of justice is back in the national spotlight, and NBA Suleja Branch is right where it should be; leading the conversation. The Law Week theme, “Restoring Public Confidence in the Administration of Justice in Nigeria”, hits at the heart of what citizens actually feel when they walk into a courtroom.
You’re not just hosting an event, you’re staging a reset. Starting with a Health Walk to lectures, dialogue, dinner, and the ground-breaking of your Bar House, this is ideas meeting action. It’s lawyers, judicial officers, and stakeholders asking the hard question: How do we make people believe in justice again?
That question matters because trust is the currency of the courts. Without it, judgments are just words on paper. With it, the rule of law becomes real in people’s lives.
I applaud the Chairman, Exco, and entire Suleja Bar for choosing courage over cliché this year. May your deliberations produce more than communiqués, may they produce commitment. May the new Bar House stand as a physical symbol of renewed confidence, and may your Law Week shift the needle for justice in Nigeria.
Wishing you two days of robust engagement, unity, and impact. Suleja Bar is setting the stage; May the rest of the Bar follow.
Yours truly,
Audrey Chinelo Ofoegbunam
