GOODWILL MESSAGE TO NBA ZARIA BRANCH ON THE OCCASION OF YOUR 2026 LAW WEEK

I convey my heartfelt felicitations to the Chairman, Executive Committee, and all esteemed members of the Nigerian Bar Association, Zaria Branch, as you mark your 2026 Law Week.

The theme, “Awakening the Future of Zaria Bar,” is a bold summons. It calls every member to look beyond routine practice and to reimagine what the Bar can become. The future is not something we wait for. It is something we build with vision, discipline, and collective will.

Zaria has a rich legal heritage and a reputation for producing principled advocates. This Law Week presents a timely platform to harness that legacy, interrogate present challenges, and chart a deliberate course for the next generation of lawyers in your jurisdiction.

I commend the Chairman, the Executives, and the Planning Committee for choosing reflection over complacency, and for daring to stir the Branch toward renewal. May your sessions ignite fresh ideas, strengthen professional bonds, and set practical benchmarks for growth, mentorship, and service to the community.
