Your theme, “The Law & Social Change: Influencing Policy and Society”, could not be more timely. In this season of complex national challenges, the Bar must do more than interpret the law. We must shape policy, defend democracy, and drive real social progress.

I commend Eket Branch for designing a programme that balances deep legal discourse with human rights advocacy, community impact, wellness, and professional growth. That is the modern lawyer: advocate, reformer, and community builder all at once.
