Aare Akinboro, SAN, to speak at NBA Abuja Law Week

Renowned legal practitioner and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Aare Olumuyiwa Akinboro, SAN, is set to feature as a discussant at the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Abuja Branch Law Week 2026.

The session, themed “Safeguarding Nigeria’s Democratic Process,” forms part of the Law Week activities scheduled to hold at the NBA Headquarters, Central Business District, Abuja.

Akinboro will join a distinguished panel of senior lawyers and thought leaders to discuss the topic: “Driving Sustainable Economic Growth Through Smart Policies.”

The session will be chaired by Prof. Paul Obo Idornigie, SAN, with other discussants including Emeka Obegolu, SAN; Lateef Omoyemi Akangbe, SAN, FCIArb; Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya, SAN; and Paul Harris Ogbole, SAN.

Widely respected for his contributions to the legal profession and policy conversations, Akinboro is expected to share insights on how strong democratic institutions, effective governance and practical legal reforms can help drive Nigeria’s economic growth.

The session is anticipated to draw lawyers, policymakers, business leaders and stakeholders from different sectors, as conversations around governance, economic stability and democratic development continue to take centre stage in the country.
