CHILDREN’S DAY MESSAGE.
Today, as we celebrate Children’s Day across Nigeria, our hearts remain with every child whose laughter has been silenced by fear, violence, insecurity, or captivity.
While many children will gather in schools, homes, and communities to mark this special day with joy and hope, we must not forget the painful reality that some Nigerian children are still separated from their families, trapped in circumstances no child should ever endure.
The continued captivity of some of our children is a painful reminder that we owe our children safety, protection, dignity, and a future free from fear.
Every child deserves the right to dream, to learn, to play, and to grow in peace.
As a nation, we must remain committed to building a society where children are protected not only in words, but through deliberate action, accountability, and collective responsibility.
To every Nigerian child, you matter. Your future matters. Your safety matters.
And to the families still waiting and praying for the return of their children, we stand with you in hope and solidarity.
Happy Children’s Day.
