GOODWILL MESSAGE TO NBA IKEJA BRANCH ON THE OCCASION OF LAW WEEK 2026

It gives me great pleasure to extend my warmest greetings and best wishes to the Chairman, Executive Committee, Planning Committee, and the entire membership of the Nigerian Bar Association, Ikeja Branch, on the occasion of the 2026 Law Week.

NBA Ikeja has consistently distinguished itself as a branch committed to excellence, innovation, and the advancement of the legal profession. I am therefore delighted to see the Branch once again convene lawyers, thought leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders for what promises to be another impactful Law Week.

The theme of this year’s Law Week, “Altering the Status Quo: Going Against the Norm,” is both timely and profound. It challenges us to rethink established assumptions, embrace innovation, and courageously chart new paths in addressing the evolving realities of our profession and society.

As we gather to exchange ideas and engage in meaningful conversations, I encourage all participants to approach the discussions with open minds and a shared commitment to the ideals of justice, professionalism, and service.

I congratulate the Planning Committee for the tremendous effort invested in organizing this programme and wish the Branch a successful, engaging, and memorable Law Week.
