I have read the petition of one Valeria Nwadike said to be a member of Nigerian Bar Association Ikeja Branch asking for my disqualification on the ground that NBA Ikeja could not find Mr. Adesina Adegbite’s (my Seconder) record of payment of his 2018 Bar Practicing Fee in NBA Ikeja. Please, note very particularly that the NBA Ikeja Electoral Committee headed by my Learned Brother Silk, Mr. Tunde Adejuyigbe SAN, did not say that Mr. Adesina Adegbite did not pay Bar Practicing Fee for 2018 but only said that they did not see his record of payment in NBA Ikeja at the time of taking their decision.
This is notwithstanding the fact that THE ACCESS BANK PAYMENT RECEIPT WAS PRESENTED TO THE BRANCH ELECTORAL COMMITTEE.
To TEAM DASAN nationwide, Friends, supporters, and members of the Nigerian Bar Association, our love and passion for the Nigerian Bar Association will not be in vain. Please be at peace. There is no cause for alarm at all. Remember, politics brings out the worst in men. I am confident and optimistic that the situation will be rectified.
