It is with a deep sense of loss that Team DASAN receives the death of one its very own, the erudite Learned Silk, Granville Abibo SAN who until his passing was one of the fiercest supporters of Deacon Dele Adesina SAN’s candidacy for the office of the President of the Nigerian Bar Association.
The Learned Silk was among the first set of believers in the project for a secured future for the Legal Profession, and he was among the first set of friends who formed “Friends of Adesina”, a movement that birthed #TeamDASAN. He passionately canvassed support for Dele Adesina SAN in Rivers State, its environs and across the country.
Team DASAN has many high ranking members who we fondly call Generals, Late Granville Abibo SAN was one of them.
Consequently, Team DASAN in furtherance of the directive of DASAN hereby suspends further consultations and public engagements over our project for the next 24hours in honour of our departed friend, , senior, mentor and General, Granville Abibo SAN.
May the learned soul of our charismatic leader Granville Abibo SAN, rest eternally in the bosom of the Lord. We pray God visits and strengthens his family at this critical time and grant them the grace to bear the loss. We extend our deepest condolences to the NBA Porthacourt Branch and all NBA Branches in Rivers State, and to the good people and Government of Rivers State who have lost an illustrious son.
