An autopsy conducted on late Sylvester Oromoni, a student of Dowen College, Lekki, Lagos, who died on November 30 last year, has said the 13-year old died of acute lung injury due to chemical intoxication in a background of blunt force trauma.

Independent had reported that 12-year-old Sylvester died in November 2021 after he was allegedly bullied by five schoolmates.

However, an autopsy released to the public on Saturday by Clement Vhriterhire, a Consultant Pathologist at the Central Hospital in Warri, Delta State said the child had acute lung injury, cerebral edema and sustained bruised flanks/back.
