Nobel laurate, Prof Wole Soyinka has described President Muhammadu Buhari’s pardon granted ex-governors of Plateau State, Senator Joshua Dariye; and Taraba State, Rev. Jolly Nyame as a squashed putrid egg against Nigerian faces that Nigerians will not forget in a hurry. Soyinka’s reaction came in a statement on Tuesday titled, “A putrid presidential Easter egg,’’ as he added his voice to the Easter message by Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah, bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Sokoto.
