The Adesina Ogunlana Memorial Lecture will hold on Friday, 12th September, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at The Bar Centre, High Court Premises, Oba Akinjobi Way, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos.
With the theme “Adesina Ogunlana: The Man, the Law and the Struggle for Social Justice”, the event will have Prof. Lanre Fagbohun, SAN, former Vice Chancellor of Lagos State University, as Chairman of the Event, while Mr. Adeyinka Olumide-Fusika, SAN, will deliver the memorial lecture as Guest Speaker.
Late Adesina Ogunlana, a former Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association, Ikeja Branch, was known for his fearless advocacy, human rights activism, and consistent struggle for social justice. His contributions to the legal profession and civic society left a legacy of courage and integrity that continues to inspire.
The memorial lecture, organised by a Committee of Friends, is designed to celebrate his life, ideals, and lasting impact on the Nigerian legal community.
