Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar which is considered to be the holiest month.
It is a time for fasting, prayer, reflection, doing good and spending quality time with loved ones. The celebration of this year’s Ramadan is different from other ones because of the novel Coronavirus pandemic that we are currently facing all over the world.
I wish our Muslim faithfuls a Happy Ramadan. May the blessings that come with Ramadan be on all of us and help us to win the fight against Coronavirus in Nigeria and the whole world at large. Let us not forget to obey the directives of government and health authorities to maintain strict personal hygiene, keep social distance, stay home and stay safe.
Once again, I wish us all the choicest blessings of the month of Ramadan.
