Lady, 19, three others convicted for prostitution

Chief Ominimini Foundation has donated one million Naira to two widows and a vehicle to a physically challenged person. The foundation donated N500,000 each to the  wives of the late Kingsley Ejirefe, the Chairman of  a  vigilante  outfit at Agbarha-Otor, Ughelli-North, Delta State, who lost his life due to the injuries he sustained after he was attacked by hoodlums.
A  Volkswagen Golf GT car  was presented to one Mr. Itedjere Emoefe, a physically challenged person who also hails  from Agbarha-Otor.
Presenting the cash gift to the widows, the President of the Foundation, Rt.Hon Chief Obiuwevbi Ominimini, said when he promised to give the  Ejirefe  family one million Naira cash, he felt the best people to hand over the money to were the wives of the deceased.
He explained that the money  could, on the long run, be big or small depending on how it is invested.
“Ejirefe was a hard working vigilante Chairman who died when I was DESOPADEC Commissioner and I promised to take care of his family. My family and I took our breakfast this morning . So if I can put food in my stomach, it is my belief also that the family of the deceased should be able to put food on their table.
“ It is based on this that I am releasing this fund to them to take care of the family he left behind. Being a DESOPADEC Commissioner or not, one must continue to do good for his people. And if we continue to help one another, I believe the ills we see in the society will be drastically reduced,” Ominimini, who was Commissioner on the Board of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) representing Ughelli North and Ethiope-East LGA , disclosed.
