JOYCE ODUAH, FICMC WISHES CHRISTIANS A BLESSED PALM SUNDAY AND ASK THEM NOT TO BE DISMAYED AS JESUS IS IN CONTROL

Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week, the final week of Lent.

It is regrettabe that the church attendance, blessing and distribution of palms, church processions, placing palms in Bibles, devotional books and homes to mark this year’s Palm Sunday will not take place due to the current outbreak of Coronavirus that the country is facing at the moment. Christians all over the world should not be dismayed or discouraged as Jesus Christ is in Control.

We must not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up. This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it

May the spirit of this holy occasion, the warmth of the season make your heart bloom with joy and happiness, have a blessed Palm Sunday.

Let us Observe all the safety precautions in suppressing the transmission of coronavirus in our society as we worship God from our respective homes today.
