Chairman Senate Committee on Capital Market, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, on Wednesday, declared his intention to contest for the office of President during the 2023 general elections.
Amosun, who represents Ogun Central, announced his intention to declare for the seat on May 5, 2022 at the Musa Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja.
This was contained in a letter read by Senate President Ahmad Lawan at plenary.
Amosun is the third Senator of APC extraction to join the 2023 Presidential race.
