FIDA NIGERIA:GOODWILL MESSAGE

The distinguished International President, County President and executives, National Executive Committee Members, delegates, and all FIDANs,

As the FIDA Nigeria 2026 Second Quarter National Executive Council Meeting commenced TODAY, I extend my heartfelt goodwill and solidarity to you all.

It is a historic privilege for our dear FIDA Abuja Branch to host this pivotal gathering. The theme, “STRENGTHENING WOMEN’S REPRESENTATION IN DEMOCRATIC GOVERNANCE: LAW, POLICY AND PRACTICE”, could not be more timely. It speaks directly to the work we must continue to do as women lawyers. Shaping law, influencing policy, and driving real practice.

I also commend Madam Chair, executives and all members of the Local Organizing Committee for the industry put into making this August gathering a success.

I pray for fruitful deliberations, renewed commitment, and actionable outcomes at SANDRALIA HOTEL, JABI, ABUJA those that will strengthen women’s voice and representation across our democracy.
