It would be recalled shortly that recently, a former Attorney-General of Lagos, Mr. Adeniji Kazeem SAN endorsed Mr. Dele Adesina for the office of President, Nigerian Bar Association.
Another former Attorney-General, Mrs Muheeba Wonu Folami OON has also endorsed Mr. Adesina.
Mrs Folami is quoted as saying-
“I have known Mr. Dele Adesina SAN for many years. He is a fine gentleman, a practical person, and a worthy leader of the Bar. I recall he was the Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association, Ikeja Branch during the time I was Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice Lagos State, we had close interaction and engagements at the level of the Ministry of Justice and the Branch. We were able to effectively promote a good working relationship between the Bar and the Bench.
He is a lover of the Profession and a professional to the core. Dele has integrity and he is disciplined. His tenure as Chairman of NBA Ikeja Branch was very peaceful, progressive, and eventful. I believe that with his experience in the affairs of the NBA, and his love for the Profession he would be a good President of the Nigerian Bar Association. I, therefore, have no hesitation in endorsing his candidature.”
