I extend my deepest and sincerest condolences to the family of Alhaji Aliyu Umar SAN and the NBA Kano, Dutse and Ungogo Branches over the demise of the Learned Silk, a former Attorney General of Kano State, who passed on today, Friday, 17th of April, 2020.
He will forever be remembered for his invaluable contributions to the development of the Nigerian legal community and the larger society during his lifetime. He stood for everyone, especially the less privileged throughout his days as a public servant and used his position to foster the good of the society. He carved his niche in the legal community through his consistency and excellence. For these and many more he will indeed be missed.
My prayers are with his entire family and the NBA Kano, Dutse and Ungogo branches. May the Almighty God speak peace and comfort to you at this time of grief.
