The Adesina Ogunlana Memorial Lecture is scheduled to take place on Friday, 12th September, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at The Bar Centre, High Court Premises, Oba Akinjobi Way, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos.
Themed “Adesina Ogunlana: The Man, the Law and the Struggle for Social Justice”, the event will feature Mr. Adeyinka Olumide-Fusika, SAN, as Guest Speaker, while Prof. Lanre Fagbohun, SAN, former Vice Chancellor of Lagos State University, will serve as Chairman of the occasion.
Late Adesina Ogunlana, who served as Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association, Ikeja Branch from 2016 to 2018, was widely admired for his fearless advocacy, commitment to legal reform, and unwavering dedication to social justice. His legacy as a human rights defender and anti-corruption crusader continues to inspire members of the legal profession and the public.
The Committee of Friends has worked tirelessly to put the lecture together, ensuring the programme reflects Ogunlana’s lifelong struggles and enduring contributions to law and society.
