Adesina Adegbite (AA) Celebrates Women on International Women’s Day. #IWD2022

Happy International Women’s Day

I join the rest of the female folks across world particularly the female gender-based organisations in the legal profession, that is, the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA), African Women Lawyers Association (AWLA), and the NBA Women Forum in celebrating women on this special day of International Women’s Day.

I remain committed to my long time belief that women are special beings and should be accorded special treatment. That I am always pleased to be in company of women is a testament to my special love for wimen. Women are the light of the world and must be specially catered and cared for to ensure the world’s consistent brightness and peace. Women are the purveyors of humanity and must be protected to ensure a consistent moral and emotional support for the menfolk. May I therefore use this medium to specially celebrate the Women in Ukraine who are working as volunteers to take care of the men in the battle front and also the displaced within Ukraine and those taking refuge in neighbouring countries.

Without women, the world will be static and life will be brutish. Without women, there will be no peace anywhere in the world. Women are the moulders of men. I salute all women across the world who are making giant strides in their profession and vocation, and women who are making sacrifices to ensure the world is a better place for all

Being a day conceptualized to celebrate women’s achievements, and also dedicated to advocacy towards respect for Women and protection of the Rights of Women, we the menfolk must do everything possible to defend the Women and eradicate gender inequality.

While celebrating all women across the world, I encourage them to always aspire and dare to be the best

Happy International Women’s Day.
