Aare Olumuyiwa Akinboro, SAN, attended the opening ceremony of the Nigerian Bar Association Bauchi Branch 2026 Law Week, where he emphasised the need for lawyers to embrace innovation while protecting the value of legal services in an evolving legal landscape.

Speaking on the theme of the programme, Akinboro noted that the rise of artificial intelligence and changing realities within the profession demand greater adaptability, professionalism, and relevance from legal practitioners.

He also highlighted the importance of the Legal Practitioners Remuneration Order, describing it as a vital professional tool that should enjoy wider awareness and application across the Bar.

According to him, a profession that fails to protect its value risks diminishing its impact and long-term relevance.
