PDP Presidential aspirant, His Excellency, Mr. Peter Obi, on Thursday, April 14, 2022, met with leaders, elders and delegates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State, in Nigeria’s South-South region.

Mr. Peter Obi was hosted by the Governor of Delta State, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa in a closed-door meeting with other aspirants from the South East region to discuss prospects of fielding a candidate from the South East on the platform of the PDP in the 2023 elections.

Mr. Peter Obi subsequently addressed a gathering of PDP leaders, stakeholders and delegates in Delta State about his aspiration to lead Nigeria out of the dire economic and security challenges currently prevalent in the country.

During his response, the Chairman of Delta PDP, Barr. Kingsley Esiso emphasized that the election was more about a leader that can make a difference than a politician who wants to hold power.”

APC has left us in a terrible place. Imagine what they would do if they stay for eight more years. We need a President that can make a difference. For those of us that have met you before, we know that your level of integrity is high” he stated.
