Charles Oputa (Charly Boy) aka Area Fada was one of the discussants at the 13th Chief Gani Fawehinmi Annual Lecture / Symposium (FAWEHINMIISM) held on Sunday, 15th Jan. 2017, organized by the NBA Ikeja Branch at the Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja.
Charly Boy ‘spoke his mind’ as a vibrant activist, lamenting about how corruption has destroyed legendary standards and positive legacies of the likes of Justice Oputa, Gani Fawehinmi and the host of others who lived a life of worthy emulation.
He charged the Nigerian youth and the populace at large to imbibe positive legacies and shun corruption.
He however declared that the time is ripe to object to oppression, corruption and violation of rights by the government and those in positions of power. He also declared that “OUR MUMU DON DO”
According to him #ourmumudondo will soon hit every nook and cranny of Nigeria, a campaign which will object to corruption and other hypocritical policies and strategies of the government.
Truly I think “OUR MUMU DON DO”
