Mary Imelda Obianuju Nwogu, FCArb. Hon. Attorney General General and Commissioner for Justice, Anambra State.

Dr. Mrs Obianuju Nwogu presently the Anambra State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, was formerly the Honourable Commissioner for Youth Entrepreneurship and Sports Development and former Honourable Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Anambra State. She is a native of Adazi-Nnukwu, Anaocha LGA of Anambra State, a Christain, happily married to Prof. Kenn Nwogu and blessed with children. Uju Nwogu holds a PhD (Summa Cum Laude) in Law. an LL.M (Summa Cum Laude), LL.B (Hons), B.L (Hons). She also holds a B.Sc(Hons). She was the Best Graduating Student of her set. The First Commissioner ever to be appointed from Adazi Nnukwu. Also the First Attorney General & Commissioner for Justice from Anaocha LGA.

She is a member of the Anambra State Executive Council. A member of the Nigerian body of Benchers. Member Nigerian Council of Legal Education. Member Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee. Chairman of the Advisory Committee on the Prerogative of Mercy Anambra State, Chairman Anambra State Anti Corruption Strategy Implementation Committee, Member Anambra State Judicial Service Commission, Member of the Anambra State Justice Reform team, Member Anambra State Boundary Committee. She served as an external Board member of the National Board of The Electoral Institute (TEI) of Nigeria, Chairman NYSC Governing Council, Anambra State. She has served as Chairperson Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State, Until her appointment as an Honourable Commissioner she is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Law. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Nigerian Association of Law.
