People With Disabilities in the All Progressives Congress (APC), Southwest Zone, have called for the appointment of a new humanitarian minister.
They made the demand when they paid a Sallah visit to President Bola Tinubu in Lagos.
They suggested that Dr Adenike Tejuoso should be made humanitarian minister.The convener, Abayomi Soetan, said Tejuoso is more closer to the people with special needs and other vulnerable groups.
He admonished Nigerians to support the Tinubu administration, despite the current economic challenges. Soetan urged them not to waver in spirits, assuring that the hardship would end.
He described Tejuoso as a role model who has contributed to the development of the nation.
Soetan added that Tejuoso has impacted on the less-privileged.
