(A) Issuance Of Communique
It is no longer news that the suspended NBA secretary, Joyce ODUAH is grossly incompetent in the execution of her once held office.
Many members have noticed that communiques of NEC meetings are always sent very late or not even sent at all. The General Secretary is always unable to produce communiques immediately after NEC meetings as expected. Are you surprised?
To protect the collective integrity of the administration, the Assistant General Secretary, Publicity Secretary and the Rapporteurs usually take up this task.
Members must have observed that till date, because no one has taken up that assignment, the Suspended General Secretary has neither prepared nor issued the communique after the Ilorin NEC meeting.
The worrisome question is whether Mrs. Joyce Oduah can actually draft a communique? But then she is a lawyer properly so-called.
(B) Letter Writing
i. Refusal To write to the Federal High Court (Warri Division) – In Re Andrew Ubido
ii. Refusal to write the Supreme Court, The Federal High Court, ABUJA And The Inspector General of Police in Re: The Matter of Ayodeji Adeleke Akinjokun
iii. Refusal to write to the Treasurer of Okehi Branch as directed by the National Executive Council in Her meeting of the 18th day of March 2021
Why does Mrs Joyce ODUAH avoid letter writing which is one of the key duties of a General Secretary or she didn’t envisage that she would need to write letters? Rumor has it that the few letters she wrote were full of blunders.
