Sanwo-Olu issues ultimatum to traders to vacate rail tracks (Videos)

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has issued two-day ultimatum to traders trading along Agege rail line to vacate or be forced to do so.

The governor, who was on a tour of ongoing Red Line Rail project stopped at the Agege Rail Station to address traders.

He warned that government would no longer condone lawlessness and people trading in places where they are not supposed to.

Sanwo-Olu said the whole tracks would soon be walled to prevent traders from trading on rail line, saying he did not want anybody to die.

This place is government’s road and it is for transportation. This place is not for market, you cannot stay here, I have told you, we don’t want anybody to die here, we will not agree, you cannot sell here,” he said.
