On a Sad Note: Oaikhena Osagie Mourns the Passing of a Brother and Colleague”

“It is with a heavy heart and profound sorrow that I extend my deepest condolences to the Oriere family of Esan West Local Government, Edo State, and the entire legal community on the passing of our dear brother and colleague, Ehijimentor Oriere, Esq.

Known affectionately as “Mentor” to those who walked the halls of justice with him, he was more than just a colleague to me; he was a friend of over a decade. In his time with the NBA Bwari Branch, he distinguished himself as a Gentleman to the Core, Always professional, composed, and respectful.

A Proactive Bar Man Dedicated to the growth and integrity of the legal profession.

A constant source of encouragement to those around him.

It is particularly heartbreaking to recall that he celebrated his 40th birthday only last year—a milestone we celebrated with joy, unaware it would be his last. His passing serves as a poignant reminder that our existence is ultimately held in the hands of the Almighty.

“Though his journey was far too short, the impact he left behind remains monumental.”

May God grant the Oriere family the fortitude to endure this colossal loss, and may his soul find eternal rest.

Adieu, my brother.”

Sincerely,
Sir Oaikhena Osagie
