MEET Dr. DANIEL GREINEDER, NICArb 2022 HYBRID CONFERENCE PANELIST ON THE ‘INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS IN ARBITRATION: TIME/

Dr. Daniel Greineder,
Senior Counsel at McNair International, Barrister Dr. Daniel Greineder is an English lawyer who combines the experience of civil law culture with common law advocacy know-how. He is exceptionally skilled in applying foreign law and developing and presenting foreign law arguments to tribunals of diverse legal cultures and is well-versed in working
on factually and economically complex cases with expert witnesses, primarily financial and industry experts, as well as
the cross-examination of expert witnesses.


Dr. Greineder has expertise in disputes arising out of M&A
transactions in the oil and gas sector, including unconventional gas, JVs and construction projects. He also advises parties to contract price reviews under long-term agreements for the supply of gas and electricity. Much of his practice involves complex factual and expert evidence, especially damages calculations.
Geographically, recent cases have involved parties from throughout Europe, and the CIS countries, including Kazakhstan, Asia, China, and Turkey. He is familiar with the
rules of the leading arbitral institutions, such as ICC, UNCITRAL, SCAI, DIS, SIAC and LCIA, and has advised on the procedural laws of numerous arbitral seats, including Geneva, London and Singapore. He is also experienced in mediation as well as setting aside proceedings before the Swiss Federal
Tribunal and litigation before the English High Court and Court of Appeal.

Dr. Greineder frequently contributes to debates about the arbitral practice at international conferences and has published widely on matters relating to international.
