Legal Nigeria

LAW WEEK: DHIKRULLAH ADEWALE BALOGUN (DAB) LAUDS IKEJA, BENIN BRANCHES AND FIDA LAGOS.

“I extend my best wishes to the Chairmen, Branch Officers, Law Week Planning Committee, and other members of the Nigerian Bar Association, Ikeja and Benin Branches, as well as FIDA Lagos branch on the occasion of their 2022 Law Week programme.

I am excited with the themes of the law week and the fact that, they represent the true state of things and the need for change. These themes speak for themselves in many ways.

It is our collective responsibility as legal practitioners to always confront our challenges and that of our immediate society by building solid moral, law and theoretical consensus around issues for the common good of all.

I am privilege to be at the Ikeja Branch law week and I can attest to the fact that, it is not only worth attending, it is a huge success and its content and lessons will stand the test of time.

I humbly use this opportunity to urge all members of the bar to team up to build and promote new practice areas that will lead to more employment opportunities for lawyers.

I also urge legal practitioners to continue to be positive, strong and sound opinion molders the society which has currently been bedeviled by lots of socio-political vices.

I therefore congratulate the leadership and members of the two branches and FIDA Lagos for the selection of the themes and hosting the programme despite possible challenges.

Congratulations to you all.

Dhikrullah Adewale Balogun (DAB) Candidate for the post of Assistant General Secretary.
