JUST IN: Heavy security over judgement on Osun PDP chair

By Toba Adedeji, Osogbo

There was heavy security presence at the entrance and premises of Osun High Court, Osogbo on Thursday over judgement on the chairmanship seat of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The case, which is before Justice Sikiru Oke, is between Hon Soji Adagunodo and Sunday Bisi on the legitimate chairman of the party.

There was apprehension as party members who came in solidarity for the two chieftains are awaiting decision of the court on the matter.

The National Secretariat of PDP had removed Hon Soji Adagunodo as the chairman and replaced him with Hon Sunday Bisi in 2020.

Since then, the litigation between Hon Adagunodo and Bisi has lingered.
