I express my deepest condolences on the passing to glory of a dear friend, great supporter, and distinguished member of the Nigerian Bar Association Onitsha Branch, GODWIN N. MADUBUKO.
Mr. Godwin was a man of unwavering commitment to the Bar, known for his dedication to the development of legal practice. I had the privilege of witnessing his passion for service firsthand. He worked with me as the coordinator of my campaign team, Onitsha, during the election to serve as General Secretary of the NBA in the year 2020. He was active, passionate, and enthusiastic.
His devotion to the legal profession was commendable and unforgettable. In short, he was a true Barman who left an ineradicable mark on all he came into contact with. Although he is no longer with us physically, his influence and impact will live on.
I extend my sincere condolences to his family, friends, members of the Onitsha Branch, and all members of the Nigerian Bar Association who had the privilege of knowing him.
May his light never go dim, and may the memories of his dedicated service and contributions to the NBA be a source of comfort during this difficult time.
