MEMORIAL LECTURE IN HONOUR OF ADESINA OGUNLANA : GOODWILL MESSAGE

I wish to convey my goodwill and deep respect on the occasion of the Memorial Lecture in honour of Adesina Ogunlana.

Adesina was a rare breed of lawyer, courageous, principled, and unwavering in his commitment to social justice. He lived a life that reminds us that the law is not merely a profession, but a call to serve humanity. His voice, his struggles, and his sacrifices continue to echo as beacons for all who seek justice in our society.

This memorial lecture, themed “Adesina Ogunlana: The Man, The Law and The Struggle for Social Justice,” is a worthy tribute to his enduring legacies. May his life and works inspire present and future generations of lawyers to stand boldly for justice, truth, and fairness.

I commend the organisers for sustaining his memory through this event. May the soul of Adesina Ogunlana continue to rest in peace.
