The Egbe Amofin Oodua will hold her National Conference tagged Eko National Conference – ENC 2024 in Ikeja, Lagos from 5th to 7th June 2024.
In 2023, the Aare Isiaka Olagunju SAN-led executives held the first National Conference of Egbe Amofin Oodua at Ibadan, Oyo State. This year’s Conference is a continuation of the Governing Council’s efforts to foster unity and solidarity within the members of the body.
The Conference Planning Committee was empaneled during the Egbe Amofin Oodua’s quarterly meeting held in Akure, Ondo State (December 2023) with Mr. Kunle Adegoke SAN as the Chairman of the NCPC, Mr. Olusegun Fabunmi SAN as Alternate Chairman, the Chairmen of Lagos, Ikeja, Ikorodu and Epe Branches of the Nigerian Bar Association, Ms. Olaide Oluwayomi-Ajewole, Mrs. Adeola Folarin, Mr. Niyi Quadri, Mr. Bidemi Suola, Chief. Rotimi Alli, as members, while Mr. Moshood Abiola is the Secretary of the NCPC.
The Conference is themed Economic Recovery for Nigeria: Prospects and Challenges. The Conference theme has been carefully coined to awaken Legal Practitioners to their imperative role in harnessing the Government, Entrepreneurs and Foreign Investors on the recovery of the economy.
The Conference will commence from 5th to 7th of June 2024 at the Airport Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos State.
The Conference will open with a Welcome Cocktail at the NBA Ikeja Bar Center, Old Secretariat, Oba Akinjobi Way, Police Barrack, Ikeja. The Keynote Address is to be delivered by Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN, OON. The Special Guest of Honor is His Excellency, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, The Executive Governor of Lagos State, and the Chairman of the Conference is His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, the Executive Governor of Oyo State. Seasoned legal luminaries are on the Plenary Sessions to shed more light on the theme of the Conference.
