On behalf of my colleagues and I at Dele Adesina LP, I express our condolences with the family of late Hon. Justice Tom Yakubu, JCA, the Justices of the Court of Appeal, the Kogi State Branches of the Nigerian Bar Association, and the good people and the Government of Kogi State, on the demise of their illustrious son.
Hon. Justice Tom Yakubu was a quintessential gentleman who mentored several lawyers who became Judges, SANs and champions of the Legal Profession. He was also one of the founders of the Christian Lawyers’ Fellowship of Nigeria (CLASFON).
His death is certainly a colossal loss, not only to his immediate family but to the people of Kogi State, and indeed the Legal Profession. I pray that God accepts My Lord in paradise and his soul rests in eternal bliss. May God also grant his family and relations the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
Dele Adesina, SAN
