President Muhammadu Buhari has approved new appointments into the management and Board of National National Agricultural Development Fund four days to the end of his tenure of office.

The President, who will quit office on Monday, 29 May late Thursday evening approved the appointment of Dr. Garzali Abubakar as the Executive Secretary of the Fund, according to a statement by his spokesperson, Malam Garba Shehua.

Garba added in the statement that Buhari also approved the appointment of Mrs. Aduke Bamidele Hussain as Board Chairman of the organisation.

In the same vein, President Buhari also also appointed Dr. Hussaini Mohammed (North Central Representative); Mohammed Umar (North West Representative); Abdulsalam Yahaya Ahmed (North East),Mrs. Stella Uzokwe (South East); Stephen Ikata (South South and Olufunlayo Faloye (South West) as board members of the organisation.
