BREAKING: ADEMOLA ABINA ESQ. EMERGES PROTEM COORDINATOR OF CENTRAL HARMONIZATION COMMITTEE OF LAWYERS’ FORA IN ETI-OSA

In the quest for the emergence of Nigerian Bar Association, Eti-Osa Branch , varying Lawyers’ Groups and Fora held a meeting on Saturday , 1st February, 2020 at Always Lounge, Blackgate Bushgate Bus Stop, Badore , Ajah, Lagos State.

The Lawyers’ Fora and groups invited to the Harmonisation Meeting are :

1. Epe Lekki Lawyers Forum
2. Ajah Lawyers Forum
3. Eti-Osa Bar Forum
4. Badore Lawyers Forum
5. Eti-Osa Lawyers Forum
6. Shangotedo/Lakowe Lawyers Forum
7. Ikoyi-Obalende Lawyers Forum
8. Victoria Island-Lekki Lawyers Forum
9. Ibeju-Lekki Lawyers Forum.

The Meeting observed the imminent Inauguration of Eti-Osa Judicial Division , on the trail of the Commissioning of the High and Magistrate Court Building, Eti-Osa . The meeting observed the need to rally all disparate Lawyers’ Fora and Groups within the Eti-Osa Jurisdiction to streamline all the energies towards the goal of emergence of the Nigerian Bar Association, Eti-Osa Branch.

The meeting resolved that a Central Harmonisation Committee with Mr. Ademola Abina of Badore Lawyers’ Forum as Protem Coordinator and Ayo Ademiluyi of the Eti-Osa Bar Forum as Protem Secretary.

The meeting mandated the Central Harmonisation Committee of Lawyers’ Fora in Eti-Osa (CLE) to draw up a Central programme of activities bringing the Lawyers’ Fora together.

The meeting resolved that the Central Harmonisation Committee hosts lawyers across Fora and groups for a “Law and Love BEACHLINE (LLB) Retreat at Attican Beach, Ajah , Lagos State that will feature a Virtual Skill-Set Academy for Young Lawyers and “Tips on How To Excel in Bar Finals” for Law School students as a prelude to the Lawyers’ Valentine HOBNOB will Pep-Talk on “Lawyers as Endangered Species: Professional Safety and Future of Legal Profession” .

The meeting ended on a cheerful note to continue to reach out and rally Lawyers’ Fora and Groups within jurisdiction towards achieving the set-goal of establishing the Nigerian Bar Association, Eti-Osa Branch.
