Audrey Ofoegbunam Urges Nigerian Fire Service to Strengthen Safety Measures in Honor of Late Mrs. Ndidi Okeke

In light of the tragic loss of Mrs. Ndidi Osaemedike Okeke in the Afriland Towers fire outbreak on September 16, 2025, Audrey Chinelo Ofoegbunam calls on the Nigerian Fire Service to intensify efforts in fire prevention, preparedness, and response.

As a valued member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Mrs. Okeke’s passing is a significant loss to our community.

We urge the authorities to:
• Conduct thorough investigations into the cause of the fire.
• Enhance fire safety measures in buildings across Nigeria.
• Provide regular training for fire service personnel.
• Increase public awareness on fire safety and prevention.

Let’s work together to prevent such tragedies in the future. May Mrs. Okeke’s memory and all those lost in the fire incident inspire meaningful action🙏.

May her soul rest peacefully with the Lord.
