Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Orogun Federal Ward 2 have publicly expressed their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and local lawmaker Hon. Matthew Onojighofia Omonade as the party prepares for its upcoming ward congress.

At a weekend gathering of party leaders and influential members, participants passed a vote of confidence in the trio and reaffirmed their commitment to unity and cohesion within the APC ahead of the internal election process.

Addressing the meeting, Hon. Omonade thanked local party supporters for their loyalty to the APC and emphasised that unity remains crucial to the party’s strength and success. He stated that maintaining internal harmony would enhance the APC’s chances of delivering effective leadership at all levels of government.

The lawmaker also praised the leadership of Governor Oborevwori and President Tinubu, highlighting their roles in advancing development initiatives at both state and national levels. He cautioned party members against actions that could undermine unity, urging them to prioritise the collective interests of the APC during the congress process.

Other leaders present echoed the call for unity, stressing that collaboration and mutual respect are essential to the party’s continued relevance and growth. Several attendees also commended Omonade for his inclusive style of representation and efforts to strengthen cooperation among party members.

The session concluded with stakeholders affirming their dedication to supporting the APC’s organisational objectives and building solidarity as the party heads into its internal elections
