I extend my warm goodwill to the Nigerian Bar Association, Abuja Branch (Unity Bar) Young Lawyers’ Forum on the occasion of its 2025 Young Lawyers’ Summit themed “The Business of a Lawyer: Discovering the Gems Beyond the Courtroom.”

This theme is both forward-thinking and timely as it challenges young lawyers to embrace innovation, adaptability, and entrepreneurship as essential tools for thriving in today’s evolving legal landscape.

The practice of law goes far beyond courtroom advocacy; it is also about strategy, service, value creation, and leadership. I commend the YLF executive committee for curating a platform that inspires the next generation of lawyers to think beyond convention and build sustainable, purpose-driven careers.

As the pioneer Chairman of Abuja Branch of Nigerian Bar Association Young Lawyers Forum, I am particularly proud of this initiative.

I wish all participants insightful deliberations and lasting connections that will shape the future of the profession.
