I warmly extend my goodwill to the Chairman and Members of the Nigerian Bar Association Lagos Branch on the occasion of the New Wigs Induction Program.

This initiative reflects a commendable commitment to mentoring and properly guiding young members of our noble profession as they take their first major career steps. The theme of Panel Session 1, focusing on making informed career decisions, exploring diverse areas of legal practice, identifying emerging opportunities, and developing a niche, is both timely and forward-thinking.

I commend the New Wigs Induction & Placement Committee for assembling such accomplished speakers and a distinguished moderator to share insights that will undoubtedly shape the professional journeys of our new colleagues.

To the new wigs, this marks the beginning of a purposeful legal career. May you approach the profession with integrity, diligence, continuous learning, and the courage to carve out your unique space in the ever-evolving legal landscape.
